A family builder, for over 45 years
BK Builders was started in 1980 by N.G. Sekaran and is run today by Managing Director G. Balakumaran, a civil engineer (B.E. Civil, M.B.A.).
We build small, carefully finished apartment buildings on our own plots, working with Chennai architects, structural engineers and Vaasthu consultants on every elevation.

How joint ventures workWhere are BK Builders' projects?
Most of our buildings are in S.Kolathur and Kovilambakkam, with projects in Madipakkam and nearby South Chennai areas such as Medavakkam, Pallikaranai and Keelkattalai. Our office is in Viduthalai Nagar, S.Kolathur.
What flat sizes do you offer?
Our current projects have 2 BHK flats from about 1,090 sq.ft, 3 BHK flats from 1,435 to 1,625 sq.ft, and a 4 BHK of 1,840 sq.ft with a private terrace.
How many flats are in each building?
We build small buildings — usually 3 to 8 flats — so common areas stay uncrowded and maintenance stays simple.
What does UDS mean?
UDS (undivided share) is your share of the land the building stands on. We list the UDS for every flat so you know exactly how much land you own.
Do you help with home loans?
Yes. We share the documents banks ask for and guide you through the home-loan process.
I own land. Can BK Builders develop it?
Yes — through a joint venture or as a construction contract. See the joint venture page or call us to discuss your plot.
